Job summary

Romark Logistics is seeking a Material Handler II for its Irving, TX facility to operate MHE, scan with RF devices, and manage put-away and bulk picks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will work the 3rd shift (11:30pm–7:30am) and handle inbound/outbound movement, replenishment, and line-side support while maintaining GMP and safety standards. Prior warehouse experience and ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience operating MHE and in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to operate equipment and RF scanners in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work at heights up to 40 ft and in cold storage (40F).
  • Able to lift 35–50 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
  • Must read and interpret safety rules and operation manuals.
  • Willing to work daily and weekend overtime.
  • Reliable, independent worker with safety focus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a range of material handling equipment (MHE) including VNA, deep reach, stand-up, sit-down, EPJ forklifts, slip sheet machines, and rider-walkies.
  • Use RF scanner and WMS to manage product movements, put-away, bulk picks, and inbound unloading.
  • Perform replenishment and accurate put-away to system locations.
  • Ensure safe, clean work area following GMP and safety guidelines.
  • Report maintenance or safety issues to supervision.
  • Collaborate with team to optimize efficiency and accuracy.

We are committed to providing a safe, clean, and supportive work environment where every team member is empowered to speak up and work safely.3rd Shift: 11:30pm – 7:30am Monday - FridayWhat You’ll DoThe tasks and responsibilities required of the Material Handler II are outlined below:Ability to complete all Warehouse Associate Level I functions, including freight picking and transporting products.Thoroughly inspects MHE for excessive wear or damage and completes preoperational checklists to ensure equipment is safe to operate prior to use.Ensures any maintenance or repair issues for the building, vehicles and equipment are communicated to supervision.Exhibits safe behaviors and practices in the workplace to include wearing required PPE and following safe material handling and lifting practices.Responsible to follow good housekeeping and GMP to maintain a safe and clean working environment to include cleaning debris from locations, sweeping aisles, cleaning up spilled product and picking up trash.In the performance of duties will be required to operate a variety of material handling equipment including VNA, deep reach, stand-up, sit down, EPJ forklifts, slip sheet machines, order pickers and rider-walkies.Uses an RF scanner in a computerized inventory control system to manage product movements throughout the warehouse.Replenishment – Using the WMS system, the Material Handler II obtains pallets from locations and moves them to designated locations.Put-Away – Using the WMS system, the Material Handler II properly and correctly places product in the system generated put-away locations.Bulk Pick – Using the WMS system, the Material Handler II completes the bulk pick function by following the system to the correct locations.Inbound - Using the WMS system, the Material Handler II responsibilities include ensuring the proper unloading of trailers, transporting and put-away of product.CoPack- Performs all above functions and the following: Receive raw materials and packing components from the warehouse using a stand-up forklift. Transports raw materials and packaging components to specific lines and locations.
