Job summary

RK Logistics Group is seeking a Material Handler to process parts through the warehouse and WMS system. The role involves operating forklifts and pallet jacks, receiving and shipping, and keeping inventory and loading areas clean.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, stock checks, and ensuring proper documentation. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and basic computer skills are needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years warehouse and logistics experience.
• Forklift certification, with 1–2 years forklift experience.
• LEAN understanding with ability to execute 5S and 7S.
• Great communication skills.
• Understanding of logistics, shipping, receiving, and standard work instruction protocols.

Responsibilities

• Move material using hand truck, pallet jack, and other motorized equipment.
• Unload inbound customer product.
• Load product for outbound processing.
• Weigh products and take measurements.
• Receive, unpack, check, and verify product for accuracy.
• Process receiving exceptions as needed.
• Use handheld RF tools to receive, pick, stock check and ship product.
• Perform stock checks, part-number verification, cycle counts, and support physical inventory.
• Pack, re-pack and wrap product for shipping/storage.
• Consolidate partial pallets into full pallets for inventory consolidation.
• Label parts during receipt, put away, picking or shipping process.
• Pick parts for orders, shipments, scrap requests, etc.
• Stage completed orders or shipments to staging area.
• Ensure delivery documents accompany shipments.
• Inform lead about overages, shortages, or damage found during picking.
