Cavco Industries is seeking a dependable Material Handler to store, move, and manage hazardous or non-hazardous materials. You will load and unload inventory, document deliveries, and monitor stock levels while maintaining accurate records.

No formal education is required, but on-the-job training is provided. The position requires lifting up to 100 pounds, overtime including weekends and holidays, and strict adherence to safety regulations.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years' experience in a similar role is typical.
• OSHA forklift certification is an advantage.
• Excellent physical fitness with ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload inventory from loading docks, trucks, storage areas and production zones.
• Ensure all incoming deliveries match the purchase order.
• Store cargo in assigned locations using pallets and cargo boards.
• Manage inventory by recording locations and quantities.
• Record daily unit movements on production sheets.
• Operate machinery such as booms, cranes, and forklifts to handle materials.
• Analyze pick sheets and pull the appropriate products for orders.
• Track stock levels and submit purchasing recommendations.
• Contact vendors for pickups or returns as needed.
• Comply with safety and health regulations at all times.
