Job summary

Palm Harbor Homes is seeking a Material Handler to store, move, and manage hazardous or non-hazardous materials. The role involves loading/unloading, documenting deliveries, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

An ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 0–2 years’ experience, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. OSHA forklift certification is a plus, and overtime including weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• OSHA forklift certification is a plus.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Overtime availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inventory from docks, trucks, storage, and production areas.
• Ensure deliveries match the company purchase order.
• Store cargo in designated locations using pallets and boards.
• Manage inventory and record locations.
• Record daily units moved on production sheets.
• Operate forklifts and other machinery to handle materials.
• Pull products based on client orders from pick sheets.
• Monitor stock levels and propose purchasing adjustments.
• Coordinate pickups or returns with vendors.
• Comply with safety and health regulations.
