Job summary

Cavco Manufacturing LLC is seeking a Material Handler to store, move, and manage hazardous or non-hazardous materials. The role involves loading/unloading, inventory control, and documentation, with on‑the‑job training provided.

Responsibilities include ensuring PO accuracy, stocking materials, recording movements, and operating forklifts and related equipment. A HS diploma and physical fitness are required, with OT availability and OSHA forklift certification advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0–2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
• OSHA forklift certification is an advantage.
• Excellent physical fitness with ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inventory from docks, trucks, storage, and production areas.
• Ensure incoming deliveries match purchase orders.
• Store cargo in assigned locations using pallets and cargo boards.
• Manage inventory by locating, cataloging, and recording items.
• Record units moved daily on production sheets.
• Operate equipment (booms, cameras, cranes, forklifts) to handle materials.
• Analyze pick sheets and pull corresponding products for orders.
• Track supply levels and provide purchasing recommendations.
• Contact vendors for pickups or returns.
• Comply with safety and health regulations.
