Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a distribution center associate to perform material handling duties including inbound, outbound, returns, and acquisitions operations within the distribution center.

Responsible for processing and moving merchandise while maintaining inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, and safety standards. You will operate RF scanners, WMS, and other warehouse technology as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain safe work environment, including lifting, moving, and handling merchandise.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems, RF technology, and processes.
• Experience operating WMS, RF scanners, or voice-picking equipment.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment preferred.
• Prior experience handling automotive parts or related merchandise is a plus.
• Proficiency in additional languages is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping documentation with physical merchandise.
• Process inbound shipments, outbound orders, store returns, warranty merchandise, and vendor returns.
• Operate RF scanners, handheld devices, voice-picking systems, and WMS as required.
• Store and retrieve merchandise from floor locations, shelving, racking, and reserve storage areas.
• Load and unload trailers, route trucks, and secure shipments to prevent damage.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning, labeling, auditing, staging, and discrepancy resolution.
• Rebox, relabel, sort, and prepare merchandise for shipment or inventory placement.
• Follow hazardous material handling and safety standards per policy.
