Job summary

SunOpta, Inc. is seeking an Operations Material Handler I at our Midlothian, TX plant to support inbound raw materials, palletizing, labeling, and storage of finished goods.

You will operate forklifts and palletizing equipment, use Oracle production tools and RF scanners, and follow GMP and safety procedures. The role requires 3–5 years forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work 6 am to 6:30 pm on a 2-2-3 shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of forklift driving experience.
• Experience with processors, CIPs, and GMPs.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and lift 30–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver raw materials and store finished goods.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and palletizing equipment.
• Label pallets, scan barcodes, and manage inventory in the warehouse.
• Maintain safety and quality standards per GMP and PPE.
• Communicate delays or issues to the production team.
