Job summary

First Solar is seeking a Material Handler I to safely manage materials in the warehouse and shipping dock. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, cycle counting, and distributing materials and tools, ensuring accurate Oracle transactions for receipts and issuances.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of sit-down forklift experience within the last 4 years, and valid driver’s license. Experience with RF scanners and warehouse software is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of sit-down forklift experience in the past 4 years.
• 6+ months warehouse/material handling experience preferred.
• Experience as an Industrial Equipment Operator.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe workplace.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks per safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with EH&S policies and regulations.
• Deliver materials to designated production areas or shipments on time.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on handling equipment.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
• Participate in SWATs and support 5S housekeeping.
• Perform shipping/receiving tasks and ensure proper packaging.
