Job summary

Viking Electric, part of the Sonepar family, seeks a Warehouse Material Handler in La Crosse, WI. This full-time role supports fast-paced warehouse operations, loading/unloading trucks, and ensuring accurate, organized inventory flow to customers and trucks.

You will operate forklifts, use handheld scanners, and assist with packing, labeling, and routing materials for safe delivery. Training is provided for equipment use, and the team emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs with assistance
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes safely using equipment ( forklift, pallet jack, handcart, reach trucks)
• Count, check and record items entering or leaving the warehouse
• Use handheld scanner to track inventory levels
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage
• Help keep products organized and damage-free
• Follow safety procedures to maintain secure warehouse operations
