Job summary

Constantia Flexibles in South Carolina is seeking a warehouse forklift operator to support daily logistics and production operations. You will perform safety inspections on forklifts, dock doors, and battery chargers, and ensure GMP compliance while loading and unloading inbound and outbound trucks.

You'll weigh goods with scales, secure raw materials, and help keep the production floor clear of recycled materials.

Qualifications

• Must have valid forklift certification (preferred) or recent forklift experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including overnight, with strong safety adherence to OSHA.
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Attention to detail and good communication skills are essential.
• Comply with GMP regulations and safely load/unload trucks and production areas.
• Handle raw materials and secure warehouse inventory as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks and daily safety inspections on forklifts, dock doors, battery chargers, and overall warehouse.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks; assist with curing room as needed.
• Deliver raw materials and ensure they are secured in the warehouse.
• Weigh goods using scales before shipment and clear production floors of unused materials.
• Recommend safety, quality, packaging, and efficiency improvements when applicable.
• Operate with strong adherence to warehouse safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
