Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full Time Material Handler in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The role involves warehouse duties such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and forklift operation. Hourly pay is $21.00 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to lift and push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Stand for long periods; flexible shifts.
• Detail oriented with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Maintaining accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production.
• Adhere to contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
