Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler in Chambersburg, PA. The role features a safe supply chain environment, state-of-the-art equipment, and weekly pay with a $21.00 per hour base plus a $1.00 shift differential.

We seek a right candidate with at least six months of related warehouse experience, ability to operate powered industrial trucks, and a commitment to safety. Full-time roles include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks (stand-up/sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers) and related equipment.
• Ability to read and do basic math in English for safety and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and ensure scanning is accurate.
• Perform picking, packing and material moves per procedures and policies.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety in assigned area.
• Assist in training dock staff on new procedures.
