Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Material Handler in Chambersburg, PA to join a fast-paced distribution team. You will operate forklifts, support picking and packing, and help ensure accurate shipments while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Weekly pay, paid training, and a comprehensive benefits package are offered. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift license, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license and ability to operate PFIS equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Work within contract performance measurement guidelines and ensure accurate picking, packing, and auditing.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during production shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
