Job summary

ACME CONSTRUCTION SUPPLY in Amarillo, TX is hiring a Material Handler to support order fulfillment and inventory control. You will locate and pull orders, load and unload trucks, and ensure accurate inventory. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a $19.00–$21.00 hourly wage plus a monthly incentive bonus after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a similar warehouse role.
• Experience with RF devices is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift experience and certification desired.
• Basic English reading and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Locate material and pull orders using RF/warehouse procedures.
• Unload product using forklift and hand loading; put away stock.
• Check in incoming product against purchase orders.
• Maintain accuracy in order pulling and inventory.
• Prepare products for staging, labeling, palletizing, wrapping.
• Prep and assemble products for custom non-stock orders.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Keep warehouse orderly and compliant with safety policies.
• Assist with loading/unloading for will-call and returns.
• Support kitting, labeling, and packaging tasks as needed.
• May conduct cycle counts and collaborate to optimize workflow.
• Participate in material handling training and related duties.
