Job summary

ACME CONSTRUCTION SUPPLY in Amarillo, TX is hiring a Material Handler/Delivery Driver to fulfill orders, organize inventory, unload trucks, and deliver to customers from the Amarillo branch.

The role requires forklift operation, RF device familiarity, and a clean driving record for operating a range of trucks. Workdays are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with an hourly wage of $20–$21 plus a monthly incentive bonus after 90 days.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year experience in a similar position is preferred.
• Experience with RF devices is a plus.
• Experience with forklift and ability to maintain forklift certification.
• Clean driving record and the ability to drive a range of vehicles.
• Must be 21 years of age to meet auto insurance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interact with employees, customers and vendors in a professional manner.
• Understanding of safe warehouse practices.
• Self-disciplined and capable of completing critical tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders and manage inventory.
• Unload deliveries and put away stock.
