Johnstone Supply LLC in Florham Park, NJ is seeking a Material Handler I to receive, pick, pack, and ship products accurately. You will operate forklifts, RF scanners, and ERP systems, while maintaining safety and inventory accuracy.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and 0–1 year of related experience, with forklift certification preferred. Shift typically Monday to Friday, with a starting pay of $17–$19 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 0–1 year of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with a picker, forklift, RF scanner, and inventory management systems desired.
• English proficiency required for safety and communication.
• Forklift certification required, or willingness to obtain on the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment (e.g., forklift) safely to locate, move, and store products.
• Receive products by forklift or by hand and verify condition.
• Verify shipments against packing lists and complete necessary paperwork.
• Ensure bar codes and stock numbers are verified and legible.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with proper documentation.
• Document shipment of hazardous materials and prepare packing lists.
• Maintain accuracy, safety, and cleanliness per SOPs and participate in counts.
• Maintain required certifications and participate in related projects as needed.
