Job summary

Johnstone Supply in Florham Park, NJ, is hiring a Material Handler I to receive, fill, and ship products accurately while maintaining orderly stock and paperwork. You will operate power equipment, verify counts, and ensure safe handling throughout the warehouse.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, 0–1 year of related experience, and basic math skills. English proficiency is essential. Schedule: Mon–Fri 7am–5pm; Pay: $17–$19/hr with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year related experience.
• Experience with a picker, forklift, RF scanner, and inventory management systems preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations and procedures.
• Forklift certification required, or willingness to obtain on the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment to locate, put away, stack, and move products daily.
• Receive product by unloading trucks and verifying counts.
• Fill orders by picking, packing, and labeling for shipment.
• Document the shipment of hazardous materials as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory and safety standards; follow SOPs.
