Job summary

RK Logistics Group in Newark, CA is seeking a Material Handler to process parts through the warehouse and WMS. You will operate forklifts, move materials, receive and ship products, and maintain accurate inventory.

The role requires 0–2 years in warehouse/logistics, forklift experience, and a willingness to learn LEAN practices. Strong math and writing skills, plus basic computing with Word/Excel, are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-2 years’ Warehouse and Logistics experience.
• 1-2 years’ forklift experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn LEAN principles, including 5S and 7S methodologies; training provided.
• Great communication skills.
• Understanding of logistics, shipping, receiving, and standard work instruction protocols.
• Strong math and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Move material using hand trucks, pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Unload inbound customer products and load outbound as needed.
• Weigh, measure, and verify products (DIMS).
• Receive, unpack, check, and verify product accuracy.
• Use RF handheld tools to receive, pick, stock check, and ship in WMS.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory support.
• Label parts during receipt, put-away, picking or shipping process.
• Stage completed orders or shipments and ensure proper documents accompany them.
