Job summary

You'll operate forklifts and other handling equipment, coordinate with shop leads, and train new employees on correct procedures to ensure smooth, on-time material flow across projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of forklift and material handling experience, preferably in heavy steel.
• Experience with all terrain extended boom forklifts and telehandlers.
• Ability to follow work orders and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Commitment to safety and operating standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain storage yards and warehouses for cleanliness and safety.
• Issue materials by requisition and distribute as directed by supervisor.
• Ensure documentation is complete and accurate for inventory records.
• Load and unload materials onto trucks, racks, or shelves using forklift.
• Be the primary trainer for new employees on material handling procedures.
• Coordinate shipment loading and complete required paperwork.
