Job summary

Service Steel Aerospace, a leading global distributor of aerospace metals, seeks a Material Handler in Canton, OH. The role supports receiving, storing, and preparing materials for production and customer orders, using forklifts, band saws, and other material handling equipment.

You will ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work environment while following work orders and inventory procedures. Shifts run Sun–Wed, 5:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior warehouse/material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and order-picking equipment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and work orders data entry.
• Ability to read work orders and use measuring tools.
• Strong attention to safety and quality, teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming materials.
• Pick, assemble, tag, and prepare customer/production orders.
• Load/unload trucks and containers.
• Move materials between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas using equipment.
• Operate band saws and measure outputs for conformance.
