Job summary

Freight Breakers LLC in Romeoville, IL is seeking a Material Handler to unload freight and build stable pallets. You will stack boxes, move pallets with a pallet jack, and maintain a clean work area while meeting production standards. This full-time role offers production-based pay with hourly pay when not on a truck and opportunity for overtime.

Earn $550–$1,200+ per week, with benefits including dental and vision insurance and PTO after one year of service. Abides by EEO policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50–100 lbs.
• Must perform physical work for extended periods.
• Must work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Move pallets to and from designated staging areas.
• Build stable, organized pallets as you unload freight.
• Use a pallet jack to move full pallets to staging areas.
• Repeat pallet setup with new pallets from trailers.
• Work on a variety of loading and unloading assignments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while meeting production standards.
