Job summary

Freight Breakers in Romeoville, IL is hiring motivated Material Handlers for a production-based role. You’ll stack boxes, build pallets, and move them with a pallet jack; earnings scale with output, with weekly pay from $550 to $1,200+.

The schedule offers full-time shifts Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday, 7:00 AM–6:30 PM, with hourly pay when not on a truck and benefits including dental and vision insurance and PTO after one year.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50–100 lbs.
• Steel-toe shoes required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Stack boxes from trailers onto wooden pallets.
• Build stable, organized pallets as you unload freight.
• Move pallets to designated floor/staging area using pallet jack.
• Return a new pallet to the trailer and repeat the process.
• Work on a variety of loading and unloading assignments.
• You will be paid hourly when not actively on a truck.
