Freight Breakers in Romeoville, IL is seeking motivated Material Handlers. This production-based role ties earnings to your output, with hourly pay when not working on a truck. You’ll stack pallets, unload freight, and move loads using a pallet jack while maintaining safety and organization.

Eligible candidates will be 18+, able to lift 50–100 lbs, and commit to steady, full-time shifts with overtime as needed. The job offers benefits like dental and vision insurance and PTO after one year.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Steel-toe shoes required.
• Must arrive on time and be present for all scheduled shifts.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50–100 lbs.

• Must be able to work consistently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Stack boxes from trailers onto wooden pallets.
• Build stable, organized pallets as you unload freight.
• Move full pallets with a pallet jack to designated areas.
• Return pallets and repeat the process for new loads.
• Work on various loading and unloading assignments.
• Get paid hourly when not actively on a truck.
