Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Material Handler in California to move materials, finished goods, and supplies within the facility and onto trucks, using hand trucks when needed. This role emphasizes safe, accurate handling and supports housekeeping to maintain a clean, organized workspace.

You will load and unload freight, pick and pack orders, apply labels, verify accuracy, and assist with inventory using RF scanning devices, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs material handling manually or with a hand truck within the facility.
• Loads finished product onto pallets or hand trucks as required.
• Stacks skids or pallets in storage or staging areas and loads/unloads freight safely and accurately.
• Picks and packs customer orders, assembles merchandise for shipment.
• Applies labels to shipments according to requirements.
• Processes orders including picking, checking, sorting, consolidating freight, wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and shipment confirmations.
