Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Material Handler to move materials and finished goods within the facility, using hand trucks when needed. The role ensures safe, efficient handling and aids in general housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, picking and packing customer orders, labeling shipments, and supporting cycle counts. RF scanning supports accurate inventory management while adhering to company safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs material handling duties manually or with a hand truck.
• Loads finished product onto pallets or hand trucks as required.
• Stacks skids or pallets in storage or staging areas.
• Loads and unloads freight safely and accurately.
• Picks and packs customer orders for shipment.
• Applies shipment labels per requirements.
• Processes orders including picking, sorting, consolidating, wrapping pallets, packing and shipment confirmations.
• Verifies freight accuracy and checks for damage or infestation.
• Assists with inventories and cycle counts as needed.
• Uses RF scanning devices to support inventory management.
• Provides cleaning and sanitation services as needed.
• Maintains a clean, safe, organized work area following safety standards.
• Performs other duties as required by management.
