A leading company in electrical solutions is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Centralia, MO. The role involves managing warehouse operations, ensuring accurate records, and coordinating shipments. Candidates must be physically capable of handling materials and operating equipment. The Warehouse Person will be responsible for storing and pulling materials from designated locations, maintaining accurate records of all items in the warehouse, staging areas, or storage zones.
Responsibilities include determining shipping and packing requirements, verifying quantities, catalog numbers, markings, and packaging conditions. The role involves loading materials to ensure damage-free shipments, preparing shipping documents, processing inbound and outbound shipments, and coordinating with production scheduling.
The Warehouse Person must identify items correctly, weigh or count them, and deliver parts and materials to the appropriate departments. Operating material handling equipment like reach trucks and forklifts is required, along with using hand tools and computer terminals for documentation and SPC tasks.
Additional duties include passing the Packing and Shipping Operator’s Test, certifying product quality and catalog numbers, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Physical requirements include the ability to perform work for at least eight hours, walk, hear, see, use both hands fully, lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist, and occasionally lift over 65 lbs or 75 lbs to a height of 41 inches, carrying it for 6 feet. These requirements are general guidelines, and work may occasionally exceed these levels.
