Job description

A Day In The Life
  • The Warehouse Person will be responsible for storing and pulling material from proper locations and maintaining accurate records of all items in the warehouse, staging or designated storage areas.
  • This role includes determining shipping requirements, packing, cataloging, verifying packaging conditions, loading shipments to prevent damage, and adhering to weight limitations for trailers.
  • The Warehouse Person will stage materials, prepare shipping documents, process inbound and outbound shipments including UPS, coordinate with production scheduling, and identify each item with the correct SPC number, purchase order, and other relevant information.
  • They will also store, retrieve, and deliver parts and materials to the appropriate departments.
  • Operating material handling equipment such as reach trucks and forklifts is required, along with providing personal hand tools.
  • Proficiency in reading routing sheets, using tools like box knives, tape measures, and power tools, and operating computer terminals for SPC tasks is necessary.
  • Passing the Packing and Shipping Operator's Test and certifying product quality and catalog numbers per company or customer standards is required.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area and equipment is also essential.

  • Ability to work for at least eight hours.
  • Full use of senses and hands, ability to walk and hear.
  • Capability to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist, over 65 lbs, and 75 lbs to a height of 41 inches over a distance of 6 feet.
  • Note: Physical requirements may occasionally be exceeded.
