Job summary

National Tube Supply is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for the 1st shift in Chicago Heights, IL. The role involves identifying materials, processing paperwork, and safely moving steel products. Ideal candidates have 1 year of steel/industrial experience and must pass a hair follicle drug screen and background check.

Starting base rate is $19.00/hr with increases in the first year. Benefits include 401(k) with company match, health insurance, HSA, PTO, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of steel or industrial experience recommended.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Willingness to pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Identify materials correctly.
• Fill out all required paperwork.
• Follow directions on paperwork and from supervisors.
• Safely move, stack, and load material.
• Measure and verify material to BOL, Packing List, Job Traveler, Load Manifest.
• Operate general warehouse equipment (air grinder, banding, razor knife).
• Operate automated saw cutting material equipment.
• Process orders into computer software.
