National Tube Supply is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for the 1st shift in Chicago Heights, IL. The role involves identifying materials, processing paperwork, and safely moving steel products. Ideal candidates have 1 year of steel/industrial experience and must pass a hair follicle drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify materials correctly.

• Measure and verify material to BOL, Packing List, Job Traveler, Load Manifest.
• Operate general warehouse equipment (air grinder, banding, razor knife).
• Operate automated saw cutting material equipment.
• Process orders into computer software.

We are seekingWarehouse Material Handlersfor ourUniversity Park, ILlocation. We currently have openings for the following shifts:

• 1st shift (7am-3:30pm)

The ideal (but not required) candidate will have at least 1 year of steel or industrial experience including operating overhead cranes, reach trucks, saws, and front-end loaders.

Warehouse Material Handler Responsibilities:

• Properly identify materials.
• Fill out paperwork.
• Follow directions on paperwork, special instructions, and from supervisors.
• Safely handle, move, stack, and load material
• Measure/verify material to BOL, Packing List, Job Traveler, Load Manifest.
• Operate general warehouse equipment: air grinder, banding, razor knife,
• Operate automated saw cutting material equipment.
• Process orders into computer software.

Warehouse Material Handler Requirements:

Successful applicants will be required to complete a post-off Hair Follicle Drug Screen (approx. 3-6 month window) and background check.
