Job summary

ECHO Incorporated is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Illinois to support our distribution team. You will pick, pack, and ship orders using RF scanners and material handling equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse or distribution experience required.
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Previous experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment preferred.
• Prior RF scanner experience preferred.
• Basic inventory control or cycle counting experience is a plus.
• Ability to accurately read, understand, and follow customer orders and other paperwork.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately using an RF scanner.
• Operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely to transport materials and customer orders.
• Package, mark, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Verify outbound shipments for accuracy and ensure products are free from damage.
• Assist with inventory and cycle counts to help maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and established warehouse practices.
• Support team members and supervisors in meeting daily production and shipping goals.
• Perform various other warehouse duties and assignments as requested by management to support the overall operation of the department and company.
