Job summary

ECHO Incorporated is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in Illinois. The role requires safe, accurate movement of materials to items balance locations generated by manufacturing or service orders, with emphasis on efficient warehouse operations.

The position operates on a 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00pm–11:30pm) with a starting rate of $18.50 per hour including shift differential. Immediate interviews are offered for qualified candidates, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in high-volume warehouse settings.
• Proficiency operating forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers.
• Strong knowledge of basic computer functions and inventory systems.
• Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform JIT and nightly order picking using handheld scanners and lift equipment.
• Transport materials to production lines and return finished goods to the Distribution Center.
• Ensure inventory accuracy by identifying and reporting discrepancies.
• Conduct daily equipment checks to maintain safety standards and operational compliance.
• Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other industrial vehicles to load, move, and stage materials.
• Keep the warehouse environment clean, organized, and safe to support smooth operations.
