Ryder in Modesto, CA is hiring for a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Material Handler to support our facility. The role includes forklift operation, loading, picking, packing, and shipping duties with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift license, and 1+ year related experience. Strong teamwork, reliability, and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse/power industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Meet performance metrics and contract guidelines.
• Accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Support automated packing system maintenance during core production hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

The hourly rate for this position is $22.00/hr an hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
