Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler for our Spring Hill, TN facility. The role supports distribution across the US with state-of-the-art equipment and a safety-first environment.

Pay starts at $23.04/hour with an additional $1.25/hour for second shift, plus benefits. We seek dependable, punctual individuals with a high school diploma or equivalent and forklift certification. Training is provided and a strong team culture is emphasized, including equal opportunity employment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment.
• Detail oriented with good follow-up practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
• Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment

• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
