Warehouse Material Handler

Location: Dekalb, IL

Pay Rate: $22/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Note: Pre-employment physical and DOT medical monitoring required.

We’re seeking detail-oriented and safety-focused individuals for a Warehouse Material Handler role in Dekalb. This temp-to-perm position offers hands-on work in a dynamic environment with opportunities for long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry for raw materials received.
• Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials and supplies.
• Safely unload freight, verify shipments, and operate forklifts.
• Prepare and pack hazardous and non-hazardous materials for shipment, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Maintain inventory records using SAP and WMS systems.
• Fulfill internal supply orders and deliver materials to on-site teams.
• Assist with system troubleshooting, audits, and training.
• Operate various material handling equipment, including "operator up" and wire-guided machinery.

Working Conditions:

• Work in outdoor freezer/cooler environments; exposure to temperature changes expected.
• Frequent walking and use of a safety harness required.
• Forklift operation experience (minimum 1 year) required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of warehouse experience.
• Strong attention to detail and computer/data entry skills.
• Team-oriented with a commitment to safety and reliable attendance.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and DOT medical exam (vision, hearing, circulatory system, urinalysis).
