THE WORK

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Global Sustainment team as a Warehouse/Material Handler. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of warehouse and material handling duties in support of multiple programs. As a Warehouse/Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of incoming inventories, maintaining inventory accuracy, and preventing damage to materials. You will work closely with the team to ensure daily tasks are being addressed and storage requirements are being managed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accurately and efficiently process incoming inventories upon equipment delivery, ensuring timely and thorough receipt of materials.
2. Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
3. Handle material putaways, pick, pack, and prepare shipments, ensuring proper material handling to prevent damage and ensure compliance with company standards.
4. Communicate with the team to ensure daily tasks are being addressed and storage requirements are being managed.
5. Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
6. Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling environment is preferred.
7. Relevant certifications, such as OSHA or fork lift operation, are a plus.
8. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and program requirements is essential.

Basic Qualifications:

Required to be certified in using hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices to move material. Use of computers to perform inventory tasks which include manual counts and verification of parts.

Desired Skills:

Fork lift certified. SAP knowledge.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

3. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
4. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
