Job summary

Unclassified is seeking a seasoned Warehouse Manager for our Elizabeth, NJ distribution hub to own and optimize operations for heavy, fragile goods like tiles and stone.

You will design, implement, and enforce inventory and logistics systems, oversee daily inbound/outbound deliveries, and coach a team of 10 associates to safety and accountability, aiming for 100% accuracy and on-time performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience solely as the primary Warehouse Manager in a high-volume, large-scale warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• System Creation & Optimization: Design and implement highly efficient workflow systems for inventory control, space utilization, and quality assurance specific to heavy, fragile goods (tiles/stone).
• Daily Delivery & Logistics Management: Oversee the scheduling, preparation, loading, and dispatch of daily outgoing deliveries, ensuring 100% accuracy and on-time performance.
• Team Leadership: Directly manage, train, and motivate a team of 10 warehouse associates. Delegate tasks effectively and foster a culture of safety, accountability, and respect.
• Inventory Integrity: Maintain strict control over inventory levels.
• Fleet & Equipment Oversight: Ensure all forklifts, warehouse equipment, and delivery vehicles are properly maintained and operated safely.

Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (On-site) Salary: $150,000 $200,000 (Based on experience)

Position Overview:

This is not a role for an assistant or a passive supervisor. We need a seasoned, battle-tested Warehouse Manager who has successfully run large-scale warehouse operations. You will be responsible for transforming our daily operations by designing, implementing, and enforcing robust inventory and logistics systems. You will directly manage daily inbound/outbound deliveries and lead, mentor, and hold accountable a team of 10 warehouse employees.

• Proven Leadership: Minimum of 5+ years of experience solely as the primary Warehouse Manager in a high-volume, large-scale warehouse environment. (Note: Assistant Warehouse Manager experience will not be considered for this role).
