Job summary

Automation & Factory Solutions (AFS), a SunSource company, seeks a Warehouse Manager to lead the Miamisburg, OH distribution facility. You will drive safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement, overseeing receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping while building a cross-trained team.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in warehouse management, hands-on Lean/5S experience, and strong ERP/WMS skills, including Epicor Prophet 21.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse/distribution management experience
• Proven experience driving continuous improvement initiatives with measurable results
• Proven track record of achieving and sustaining high inventory accuracy
• Experience developing SOPs, work instructions, and training/cross-training programs
• Hands-on experience with an ERP/WMS system; Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) preferred
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills (5 Whys, fishbone, PDCA)
• Excellent communication, coaching, and accountability-driven leadership style
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general office software

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise, coach, and develop a team of 10 warehouse associates
• Identify operational bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Own end-to-end inventory accuracy and cycle counting program
• Develop, maintain, and audit SOPs and training materials
• Utilize Epicor Prophet 21 for inventory management and reporting
• Lead safety training and ensure OSHA compliance; maintain 5S practices
• Oversee facility maintenance and equipment use
• Manage shift schedule and operational workload for Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
