Job summary

Amteck in Louisville, KY is seeking a dependable Warehouse Manager to coordinate warehouse operations, inventory, and equipment readiness for electrical construction projects. This local role requires hands-on oversight of deliveries, material labeling, and safety compliance to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.

You'll partner with project and field teams, supervise loading/unloading, and ensure trucks and tools are maintained and organized.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment, including forklifts.
• Knowledge of properly strapping and securing loads on delivery vehicles.
• Experience driving stake-bed, flatbed, or bucket trucks.
• Basic computer skills.
• Electrical construction experience preferred, not required.
• Strong organization, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and dependable service.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and/or manual methods.
• Secure materials and equipment using tie-downs, chains, plastic wrap, and other approved methods.
• Drive ½-ton and ¾-ton pickup trucks and a 14-foot stake-bed truck for deliveries; tow/manage trailers.
• Organize, track, and control inventory at the warehouse and job sites.
• Perform general warehouse duties when deliveries are not scheduled.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
• Maintain trucks, trailers, generators, racking systems, tools, and related equipment.
• Coordinate with local vendors for equipment servicing.
• Schedule material pickups and deliveries with project and field teams.
