Job summary

Avolta AG in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Warehouse Manager II to oversee the location's warehouse activities for a medium-volume operation. You will lead staff, manage receiving and storage, and ensure accurate data in the Retail Management System, as well as timely ticketing and reporting.

This exempt role reports to the General Manager and requires strong time and project management, plus proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Word.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 2 years post-high school education preferred.
• Minimum 3 years Inventory Management/Merchandising/Retail experience in medium volume and/or multi-unit F&B or Merchandise ops.
• 2 years driving experience with a valid State Driver’s License.
• Excellent time management, project management, and presentation skills.
• Advanced computer literacy: Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy docs; converse with customers.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and operating heavy equipment or vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Prepares daily scheduling of warehouse personnel in accordance with business needs.
• Supervises and trains all warehouse associates.
• Ensures purchases meet specifications and are from approved vendors; provides feedback to Management.
• Oversees ticketing of all items to ensure timely, accurate processing.
• Manages data flow from ordering and receiving forms; ensures data is entered into the Retail Management System.
• Resolves most questions and problems; refers complex issues to higher levels.
• Fosters open communication between warehouse and other management staff.
