HMSHost is seeking a Warehouse Manager I to oversee warehouse activities at a location with low sales volume and routine operations. The role includes leading staff, managing purchases, receiving, and data integrity in the Retail Management System, and reporting to the General Manager as required.

The position emphasizes team leadership, vendor relations, inventory accuracy, and process optimization in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 2 years post-high school education preferred.
• 1 year Inventory Management/Merchandising/Retail experience in low-volume and/or multi-unit operations.
• 2 years driving experience and a valid State Driver’s License.
• Excellent time management, project management, and proven presentation skills.
• High level of computer literacy, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Ability to read, comprehend instructions, and converse with customers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate heavy equipment if needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares daily scheduling of warehouse personnel.
• Supervises and trains all warehouse associates.
• Ensures purchases are per company specs from approved vendors.
• Oversees ticketing of items for timely processing.
• Manages data flow from ordering to receiving in the Retail Management System.
• Resolves routine questions; refers complex issues up.
• Fosters open communication between warehouse and management.
