Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Shop Supervisor to organize and manage daily shop operations, inventory, and personnel. You will coordinate freight receipt, forklift use, and stock levels while maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

Ideal candidates will have 2–3 years of managerial experience and a high school diploma or GED, with vocational training preferred. The role includes benefits and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

Two to three years of experience in a management role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
High School Diploma or GED preferred; vocational training is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, staff, direct, and control shop activities to meet profit and expense goals.
Receive freight, operate a forklift, stock warehouse, and perform inventory counts.
Check in orders, stock items, and maintain shipping supplies; perform all shipping.
Maintain shop organization, tools, and equipment; train and supervise subordinates.
Document inspections and repairs; ensure safety and customer communication.
