Job summary

DSG Supply in La Crosse, WI seeks a Warehouse Manager to run day-to-day warehouse and delivery operations in a salaried, exempt role. Expected hours are 8 am–5 pm, Monday–Friday, with occasional variations for business needs.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, scheduling, safety, inventory control, and coordinating with the Sales Team. DSG emphasizes ESOP, training, growth opportunities, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with related coursework or on-the-job experience.
• 3-5 years of field experience in warehouse operations or equivalent training.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to follow company policies, products, procedures, and operations.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work under pressure and deadlines.
• Proficient computer/technical skills as required for the job.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain staffing levels and assist in interviewing and hiring.
• Train, motivate, monitor, and evaluate warehouse associates.
• Guide associates through reviews with coaching and disciplinary action as needed.
• Coordinate staffing including weekend on-call coverage and backup.
• Lead department meetings to update on operations and goals.
• Manage daily delivery schedules and communicate with customers and drivers.
• Oversee vehicle fleet safety, cleanliness, and maintenance.
• Ensure safety procedures and incident reporting are followed.
• Monitor inventory control, cycle counts, stockouts, and shipping/receiving accuracy.
• Ensure efficient material movement from receiving to warehouse.
• Oversee inventory rotation and proper storage to save space.
