Warehouse Manager is primarily responsible for inventory management, warehouse management, provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing and distribution services, supervising staff, policy enforcement and will also keep up with the day-to-day operations with goal toward operational excellence.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Product Management
- Balancing the inventory daily by controlling product flow in and out of the warehouse and verifying inventory on hand reports any concerns to Operations Manager.
- Conducts two physical counts of warehouse inventory and reconcile data with storage system.
- Maintains records of deliveries and communicates information to Operations Manager and Administrative Team.
- Monitors and communicates inventory concerns.
- Supervises the process of repacking damaged inventory.
- Verifies contents of all sales vehicles upon return from the trade.
- Supervises team of warehouse loaders to insure accurate loading of sales vehicles.
- Ensures first-in-first-out is being practiced by capturing expiration dates upon delivery and performing a weekly audit.
Facilities Management
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by updating daily housekeeping sheet.
- Inspect equipment to ensure equipment is in good working conditions.
- Issue work orders for equipment including repairs and replacements.
- Maintains daily operations and repairs for building location.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by enforcing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Fleet Maintenance
- Coordinate with Fleet Manager to schedule maintenance with a goal of minimizing disruption as vehicles are moved in and out of service to allow for maintenance.
- Routinely inspect vehicles to examine for cleanliness, damage, and/or wear and tear of the vehicles and arrange for non-routine repairs.
Personnel Management
- Train all new sales employees in vehicle inspections.
- Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees on tasks.
- Following up on employee’s job responsibilities and initiating corrective actions.
- Hire, train, supervise, and develop team of warehouse loaders to meet department goals for efficiency, accuracy, and product rotation.
- Ensure operational policies are enforced in all departments.

QualificationsRequirements for the Position Include:
- High School Diploma required
- 3+ years of warehouse/inventory experience in DSD environment preferred.
- Preferred ability to skillfully operate a forklift.
- Lifting of 45+lbs plus on a repetitive basis with lifting of up to 100lbs
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to obtain a Department of Transportation Medical Certification
