Job summary

Recom is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead operations at our Buford, Georgia fulfillment center. The role focuses on safety, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, and employee development in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

The ideal candidate will oversee inbound receiving, inventory control, outbound shipping, returns processing, and warehouse safety, with strong leadership and a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of warehouse leadership experience.
  • 3+ years managing supervisors and large warehouse teams.
  • Demonstrated success leading facilities with high SKU counts and fast-paced operations.
  • Proven knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using KPIs and data to improve operational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily warehouse operations to meet productivity, quality, safety, and service objectives.
  • Manage warehouse supervisors, leads, and hourly staff while fostering accountability and engagement.
  • Drive continuous improvement through standardized processes and initiatives.
  • Plan labor and warehouse operating expenses to meet budgeted objectives.
  • Ensure accurate receiving, inventory, product preparation, shipping, and returns processing.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation.
  • Monitor KPIs including productivity, inventory accuracy, order accuracy, on-time shipment, lead time, safety, and labor utilization.
  • Develop staffing plans and schedules to meet changing customer demand.
  • Ensure compliance with Amazon FBA requirements and customer-specific operating procedures.
  • Identify process improvements that reduce cost while improving throughput and quality.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
  • Lead investigations into inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain OSHA compliance and promote a strong safety culture through training and audits.
  • Manage equipment, facility maintenance, and warehouse organization.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and future leaders through regular feedback and performance management.
  • Support new customer implementations and operational expansions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all daily warehouse operations to meet productivity, quality, safety, and customer service objectives.

  • Manage warehouse supervisors, leads, and hourly associates while fostering a culture of accountability and engagement.

  • Drive operational excellence through standardized processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk the warehouse floor for extended periods.

  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

  • Occasional evenings or weekends may be required during peak business periods or physical inventory events.
