Arvato Bertelsmann is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Shepherdsville, KY, to lead high-tech warehouse operations, focusing on data center equipment requisitions, safety, quality, reliability and cost objectives. You will oversee front-end staff and drive leadership across production and logistics to ensure seamless operations.

The role requires strong communication, tough decision-making and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

The position of Warehouse Manager at Arvato demands expertise in initiating requisitions for our high-tech warehouse, particularly concerning data center equipment. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a thorough understanding of the customer requisition process, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, reliability, and cost objectives. Additionally, they will be responsible for overseeing the front-end staff involved in this process, necessitating strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure seamless operations.

YOUR TASKS

• Execute all business review preparation, responsible for all action logs and items resulting from business reviews.


• Serve as key communication link between operations and all customers.


• Create or use existing metrics to verify operation is under control.


• Active management of production, quality, technical, and communication issues.


• Monitor/adjust process as needed to meet production schedules, due dates, priorities, shipping requirements, and volume peaks.


• Drive continuous improvement in all areas.


• Maintain production, quality, reliability, and safety requirements.


• Provide support and training of Company policy to employees.


• Work with engineering, operations, and client services to analyze new job requirements.


• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.


• Develop employees by conducting performance reviews and training as required.


• Hiring, evaluating, conducting disciplinary actions, and performance counseling.


• Monitoring time and attendance records.


• Perform assigned duties as directed by management.

Qualifications
