The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, inventory management, and shipping. Key Responsibilities:- Manage all aspects of warehouse operations: receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
- Supervise, schedule, and train warehouse staff; conduct performance evaluations and enforce company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Operate and ensure proper use and maintenance of material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors/carriers.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and customer service standards.
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance metrics, inventory, and staffing.
Requirements:- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Forklift certification and knowledge of warehouse equipment operation.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.
