Jobot in Waltham, MA is seeking a Warehouse Manager for our building products distribution unit. You will manage day-to-day warehouse operations, ensure safety, accuracy, and timely deliveries, and lead a team of staff to meet production and customer deadlines.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in warehouse management, hands-on experience with material handling and forklifts, strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse management role.
• Experience in material handling, forklift operation, shipping & receiving, delivery scheduling, cycle counting, order picking, loading & unloading.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems and software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Forklift operation certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers.
• Manage delivery scheduling to optimize delivery times and reduce costs.
• Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy, and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Supervise order picking processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee loading and unloading processes, ensuring safety standards are upheld.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff, fostering a team-oriented environment.
• Implement and uphold warehouse policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize operations and meet business objectives.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• Certification in forklift operation is highly desirable.
