Job Description

The Warehouse Manager oversees receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by implementing and enforcing operational and personnel policies. Ensures warehouse safety, security, and efficiency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
• Design layout and optimize space utilization
• Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with handling, shipping, and safety requirements
• Maintain health, safety, hygiene, and security standards
• Manage stock control and reconcile data with inventory systems
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
• Plan work rotations, assign tasks, and evaluate performance
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety protocols
• Coordinate with supervisors and managers on operations
• Keep records of employee attendance and hours
• Analyze production charts, work orders, and schedules to determine requirements
• Prepare management reports on production and operational data
• Set standards, budgets, and production goals based on resources and workload

Requirements

• 5-8 years of warehouse operations experience in a supervisory role
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Leadership and staff management skills
