Job summary

OGI Process Equipment is seeking a Warehouse Manager to organize receiving, storage and distribution of all materials, ensuring smooth operations and accurate handling of internal and external requests.

Responsibilities include monitoring warehouse performance, enforcing safety procedures, coordinating with accounting on discrepancies, and supervising staff to maintain timely, accurate inventory control in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of warehousing, receiving, inventory control, or materials management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee receiving, storage and distribution of all items to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor warehouse performance and accuracy of receiving reports and inventory data.
  • Enforce safety procedures and PPE usage within the facility.
  • Resolve discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices and receiver reports.

Check out our job openings, and we look forward to working with you.Summary/ObjectiveThe Warehouse Manager, organizes and monitors the receiving, storage and distribution of all items received either from suppliers or production shops, ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed to proper departments in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Monitors and measures receiving and warehouse performance for accuracy of receiving reports, movement and storage of material, and transfers to service parts.Ensures materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures. Oversees the rotation of inventories within the warehouse.Monitors the unloading of all materials into the receiving department; ensures materials are staged for counting and inspection; ensures receiving reports accurately report material received. Resolves discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports. Monitors the flow of paperwork from receiving to inventory control for timely data entry. Oversees the movement of material from receiving to the warehouse in an efficient, effective, and safe manner.OGI has determined this position involves safety-sensitive job duties and will be considered a safety-sensitive position for purpose of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act (“The Unity Bill.”) effective August 29th, 2019.CompetenciesTechnical Capacity.Leadership.Performance Management.Teamwork Orientation.Supervisor ResponsibilityThis position has supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentNon-temperature-controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles that are usually associated with metal fabrication shops. All employees are required to wear personal protective equipment to include noise/hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields, and OSHA compliant safety boots/shoes within the manufacturing facility.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing duties of this job, the employee in this position is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. This position requires walking, the ability to reach, ascend/descend ladders, bend, kneel, and stoop. The employee occasionally will lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position.
