Job summary

Interior Exterior Building Supply LP in Opelika, AL is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations at our Opelika location. You will supervise Drivers, Helpers, and Forklift Operators, overseeing stocking, inventory, safety, and equipment maintenance.

The role requires 3+ years of management experience, forklift certification, and strong communication. You will coordinate with HR on hires and safety, driving adherence to DOT/EDL rules in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse management experience.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to maintain forklifts and trucks.
• Knowledge of DOT requirements and electronic driving logs (EDL).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operation employees including Drivers, Helpers, Warehouse Labor and Forklift Operators.
• Manage all aspects of the warehouse such as stocking, reordering, inventory, safety.
• Ensure the building, trucks, forklifts, and equipment are properly maintained.
• Complete Safety Orientation with all employees.
• Conduct monthly Safety Meetings.
• Handle emergencies such as employee accidents or incidents and follow up reports.
• Act as liaison between the Branch and Safety Director.
• Work with Human Resources on hires, terminations, corrective action, and personnel changes for all Warehouse employees.
